Mr. Sardar Muhammad is a career diplomat and an officer of the Foreign Service of Pakistan. Previously, Mr. Muhammad has worked on key diplomatic assignments at home and abroad, gaining vast and rich expertise of diplomacy.

During his career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muhammad served in Pakistan's diplomatic Missions at Damascus (2009-2010), Dubai (2010-2013), Riyadh (2015-2018), and Birmingham (2018-2021).

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, Mr. Muhammad was assigned charge of several important positions including Desk Officer/Director Arab Affairs (2007- 2009), Deputy Chief of Protocol (2013-2014) and Director of Afghan Trade Development Cell (2014-2015).

By educational background Mr. Muhammad has studied humanities and is holder of Bachelor degree in Law (LL. B) and Master Degree in Political Science. Ambassador of Pakistan to China

Ambassador Hashmi assumed his responsibilities as Pakistan’s envoy to People’s Republic of China on 11 November 2023.

Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Hashmi served as Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, other International Organizations and Conference on Disarmament in Geneva from November 2019 to November 2023.

Ambassador Hashmi has previously worked as Director General (United Nations), European Region and Arms Control and as Director for Disarmament Affairs, India and South Asian region at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Hashmi’s diplomatic career includes bilateral postings at Pakistan Embassies in Copenhagen (1999-2002) and Beijing (2008-2010). He twice served at Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York (2004-2007) and (2012-2016), including as Deputy Permanent Representative.

Mr. Shehzad Ahmad Khan joined the Mission in Shanghai on June 4, 2024.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Khan served as Director General, Ministry of Commerce from September 2019 to May 2024.

Mr. Khan has previously worked as Trade & Investment Officer in the Pakistan Missions of Jeddah (2016-19) and Tokyo (2013-16). He has also served as National Consultant of International Trade Center (ITC) on Regional Integration and Investment. He has been a Visiting Faculty for the leading Business Schools in Pakistan and abroad.

President Asif Ali Zardari is the 14th President of Pakistan. He took the oath of the office on 10 March 2024. Previously, he served as the 11th President of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013.

Born to a Baloch family from Sindh province on 26 July 1955, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari belongs to a political family.  His political career spans over a quarter of a century. He is the President of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and Co-chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party. He served as a Member of the National Assembly from 1990-1993 and 1993-1996, as Federal Minister for Environment 1993-1996, and as Federal Minister for Investment 1995-1996. He served as Senator from 1997 to 1999.

During his term as the 11th President, Mr. Zardari led the move to strengthen parliamentary democracy in Pakistan with the 18th Constitutional Amendment. The 18th Constitutional Amendment empowered the Parliament of Pakistan; gave greater autonomy to the provinces; and streamlined the process of appointment of superior judiciary.

Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar is the 4th Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan and 39th Foreign Minister. He is also Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan. Senator Dar also serves on a number of Constitutional and Cabinet committees: Chairman of Cabinet Committee on Privatization, Member of the Council of Common Interest, Member of the Cabinet Committee on Chinese Investment Projects, and Chairman of the Cabinet Committee to Oversee Outsourcing of Airports in Pakistan.

Senator Dar previously served four times as Finance Minister of Pakistan: 1998-1999, 2008, 2013-2017, and 2002-2023. Foreign Secretary

Ambassador Amna Baloch assumed the charge as the 33rd Foreign Secretary of Pakistan on 11 September 2024.

Ambassador Baloch’s last appointment was as the Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union from May 2023 to September 2024. Prior to that, she served as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malaysia from 2019 to 2023 and Consul General at Chengdu, China (2014-2017). Her other diplomatic assignments include: Copenhagen, Denmark (2001-2003); Colombo, Sri Lanka (2011-2014).

Ambassador Baloch joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1991. At the Ministry’s Headquarters, she served in various roles in political, administrative and protocol divisions. She has held important positions at the Prime Minister’s Office and served as Additional Secretary at the Foreign Minister’s office from 2018-2019.

Ambassador Baloch holds a Master’s degree in History from Quaid-e-Azam University and MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
