Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar is the 4th Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan and 39th Foreign Minister. He is also Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan. Senator Dar also serves on a number of Constitutional and Cabinet committees: Chairman of Cabinet Committee on Privatization, Member of the Council of Common Interest, Member of the Cabinet Committee on Chinese Investment Projects, and Chairman of the Cabinet Committee to Oversee Outsourcing of Airports in Pakistan.
Senator Dar previously served four times as Finance Minister of Pakistan: 1998-1999, 2008, 2013-2017, and 2002-2023. He has held also important high public offices including: Chief Executive/Minister of State, Pakistan Investment Board 1992-93; Minister for Commerce & Investment 1997-99; Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Implementation Commission 2010-11.
