Shehzad Ahmad Khan
Mr. Shehzad Ahmad Khan joined the Mission in Shanghai on June 4, 2024.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Khan served as Director General, Ministry of Commerce from September 2019 to May 2024.
Mr. Khan has previously worked as Trade & Investment Officer in the Pakistan Missions of Jeddah (2016-19) and Tokyo (2013-16). He has also served as National Consultant of International Trade Center (ITC) on Regional Integration and Investment. He has been a Visiting Faculty for the leading Business Schools in Pakistan and abroad.
Mr. Khan joined the civil services in 1999 and has worked on a range of policy issues related to international trade and economics. He has managed various international trade and investment events and attended several international conferences and a number of multilateral meetings and participated in many bilateral and multilateral negotiating processes related to international trade.
Mr. Khan holds a Master’s degree in International Trade and Economics from the University of Bern, Switzerland and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.
He is married with two children.
